"It takes a whole village to raise a child."
— Ashanti proverb
In order for children, of any age, to use the playground or Jefferson Building during the service, parents/guardians must register them. The goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for childern while their parents participate in the service. This is possible because of the parents who serve as volunteer monitors.
There is a playground sign-up table in the sanctuary foyer which is staffed each morning beginning at 10:50. If you would like your child to go to the playground, please sign your child in before the service.
"If we are to reach real peace in this world . . . we shall have to begin with the children."
~ Mohandas Gandhi, Indian nonviolent civil rights leader (1869-1948)
"Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see."
~ John W. Whitehead, The Stealing of America, 1983
