Interweave at First UU San Antonio

Interweave is a membership organization affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association, dedicated to the spiritual, political, and social well-being of Unitarian Universalists who are confronting oppression as lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender persons, and their heterosexual allies; and facilitates the celebration of the culture and lives of its members.

Establishing an Interweave group at our church is a natural progression of our having become a Welcoming Congregation.  All members of First Unitarian Universalist Church and the Community Unitarian Church of San Antonio, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identification, are invited to participate.  Visitors and guests of members who are anticipating joining the church are welcome to attend meetings.

Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Sunday of each month following the service.  The meeting will take place over lunch at either soup lunches at the church or restaurants close by.
