Guests and Visiting Families

For those planning to visit the church for the first time, some tips for how to make your visit enjoyable for you and your child(ren).

First, please take the time to look over the program descriptions on this website with your child(ren) to help them prepare for what to expect. Also, you might take the time to look over the map to figure out where various classes meet.

When bringing your children on Sunday please allow plenty of time to find the meeting area and meet our Sunday Morning Leaders; the program begins at 9:30am. When arriving, please fill out a Visitor Registration Form, which can be found on the Youth Religious Education bulletin board, on the NW corner of the patio. These forms help us get to know you and provide information about your child that Leaders need to know – such as food allergies. This form will need to be filled out before your child can participate in the program.

Feel free to attend part or all of class to help your child adjust to the new surroundings. Parents are especially encouraged to stay with their child(ren) on the first Sunday of the month for our Worship Sundays. These fun and music filled worships will inform you as to what the children will be focusing on for the month, are a great time to introduce your child to worshipful behavior and to learn ways of bringing Unitarian Universalism into your home.

During your child(ren)’s class you may take part in one of our Adult Religious Education classes or get some coffee in the library and chat with other church members.

Please pick up your child from class between 10:30 and 10:45am. Take time to talk with the teacher to discuss what the topic of class was and raise any questions/concerns that you have.

After class you and your child(ren) are invited to attend the worship service at 11:00am. Please see the Worship and Children In Worship sections of this website for more information.

If, after a couple visits, you and your family decide that this church is a comfortable religious home please take the time to complete a Registration Form. These give us more information about your family and their interests and gives you access to emails, listserve groups and other offered services to keep you informed of church happenings.

If you have any questions before, during or after your visit to the church please feel free to contact the Youth Religious Education Council by calling the church office at 344-4695.
